Frequently asked questions.
Everything about buying, retiring and verifying carbon offsets — straight answers, no greenwashing.
You pay us to buy verified carbon credits at wholesale; we retire them permanently on a public registry on your behalf and issue you a certificate. Each credit represents one tonne of CO₂e avoided or removed, with a registry-traceable serial number.
Prices are fixed in USD per tonne and depend on the methodology — indicatively from around $12 for renewable energy up to several hundred dollars for engineered removal. These figures are a guide only; the current live price for each methodology is shown in the offset shop. No project-picking and no hidden fees.
For most people a mixed portfolio or forest protection balances price and impact; for strict net-zero claims, engineered removal is the highest-integrity option; for the lowest cost, renewable energy. The current per-tonne price of each is shown live in the offset shop.
You pay us to buy verified carbon credits at wholesale, retire them permanently on a public registry, and issue you a certificate. The price per tonne is fixed and shown up front.
Retiring a credit permanently removes it from circulation so it can never be resold or double-counted. The retirement is recorded publicly on the registry against a serial number.
Pool retirement is retired under our name with you in the memo (standard certificate). Named retirement puts your name permanently on the public registry for a small add-on fee, shown at checkout.
Most certificates are issued within hours. Some registries take up to two days to confirm a retirement; your certificate is issued once confirmed.
Yes — every certificate has a public verify link and QR code that shows the retirement details and links to the source registry record. No login needed.
When the credits are high-integrity, yes. We only sell registry-traceable credits dated within 36 months that pass an ICVCM Core Carbon Principles screen — and reducing emissions still comes first.
Yes — like any retailer, our fixed per-tonne price covers the credits plus sourcing, registry retirement fees, certificate generation, payment processing and support. The price is shown up front with no hidden fees or demand-based surge pricing, and every tonne you buy is retired one-for-one with a public serial you can verify.
We make honest contribution claims, not blanket “carbon neutral” marketing claims. You are funding verified climate action and retiring the credits.
Yes — business plans include named retirement and an annual ESG summary with serial numbers and registry links, plus team seats and tax invoices.
Cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay worldwide. In India we accept UPI, net banking, Indian cards and wallets, billed in rupees with a GST invoice. PayPal is also supported. The methods available to you are shown at checkout.
Retirement is permanent — once credits are retired on a registry they cannot be returned, so we cannot simply reverse a purchase. Please still ask: if something is wrong (a misspelled name, the wrong tonnage, a duplicate charge) we will put it right, and if the credits have not been retired yet we can usually cancel outright. Your statutory cancellation and refund rights under your local consumer law are unaffected. Contact us with your certificate number and we will look at it.
